The message is sent to your email address and is only readable by those who can already get into your mailbox.
Voicemail boxes are typically protected by a four-digit PIN, whereas your mailbox is protected by a password of at least eight characters — and, in most organisations, by multi-factor authentication as well.
In our view, receiving your messages by email is the safer of the two.
